Omaha Poker Rules

Omaha Poker is one of the most popular poker games in the world, after Texas Hold'em poker.
One player is the dealer and a round button called "the dealer button" is placed in front of him. The dealer button moves clockwise to the next active player after each hand. The player to the left of the dealer puts up the small blind (half the minimum bet) and the next player to the left puts up the big blind (full the minimum bet). Each player is dealt four cards, face down. These are known as the "hole cards. The first betting round occurs at this point, starting with the player to the big blind`s left. Every player can check, call, raise or fold. Values of the bets are set at the lower limit of the stake structure. For example, in a $10/$20 Omaha game, the value of each bet is $10 for the first round. Checking means passing this betting round without placing a bet. Calling means betting the same as what the previous player has bet. Raising means raising whatever the call amount of the previous player was. Every player participating in the hand should place the same bet amount as the previous players (including bets, calls and raises)
After the first round of betting is over, the three community cards are dealt face up. These cards are called "the flop". The community cards are common to all players participating in the hand.
After the flop, another round of betting takes place, beginning with the player to the left of the dealer. Each player can call, raise and fold. The value of bets in second round are limited to the lower limit of the stake structure. After the bets have been made, the fourth community card is dealt. This one`s known as "the turn". The third round of betting takes place now but bets and raises are now moved to the upper limit of the stake structure. After this round of bets the final community card is dealt out. This card is called "the river". The fourth and final round mirrors the third round. The betting structure is at the upper limits. After this round of betting all players who remain in the game reveal their hands. Players can use combination of any two of his pocket cards with any three of the community cards - to form the best possible five-card Poker hand. The best hand wins.
